While chiropractic care can be given the credit for helping hundreds of Americans get back their lives after auto accidents and many other injury resulting accidents, the tests involved to help us establish what exactly your condition is are not so different from common medical tests that you’d otherwise experience at a hospital. We administer chiropractic exams and diagnostic procedures to help Dr. Lane be sure what exactly they are diagnosing, and thus deploy the absolute right treatment for you.
Consultation
The first part of the diagnostic exam will be consultation. This is where you get to discuss how frequent you are feeling the pain on your lower back, neck or any other areas, and more so the symptoms that you have been experiencing and how long you have been experiencing those symptoms. You will also be asked whether there are any activities that you have been doing that may have contributed to the pain as well as anything that you have done so far to lessen the pain or discomfort.
History
During this part of our diagnostic procedures, we’ll be interested in the medical history of your family. We also ask you whether you have been doing diets in an attempt to improve your health or more so lose weight. Questions about your lifestyle will also be asked such as whether you have any vices and how healthy you try to live. We ask these questions to understand whether there are any activities in your past or present family/lifestyle/work life that could impact your present condition either negatively or positively.
Examination
Dr. Lane will make use of tests that can possibly determine your condition. These tests determine whether or not you have problems with your spine. Once this is established, you may also need to go through further tests that are important to help the chiropractor determine what you need to correct your condition.
After the exam, Dr. Lane would be willing to sit down with you and discuss possible treatments that you can do for your condition. Remember that going to the chiropractor now is not limited to people who have experienced accidents or are currently experiencing pain on their back and neck areas. Studies have shown that chiropractic treatments now help with a wide range of conditions. People suffering from migraines and even bowel movements have shown improvements after undergoing chiropractic treatments. The great thing about this is there is no age limit. No surgery is needed as well because all chiropractors make use of their hands and the techniques that they have learned to determine the cause and cure of your current condition. Whether you are suffering from that troubling migraine, or the disorienting back pain, or whether you suspect you may be suffering from some form of sports injury, our diagnostic procedures will unearth your problem, and our chiropractors will establish its fast and effective solution. We offer free consultations.
